Quick FAQs
Clear answers about full-service management, pricing, tenant placement, maintenance and onboarding a rental property in Toronto or the GTA.
LandLord’s full-service property management includes leasing and tenant screening, rent collection, tenant communication, maintenance coordination, inspections, lease administration, compliance support, accounting and owner reporting. The service is supported by specialized teams across leasing, operations, accounting and property management rather than relying on one person to manage every task.
Property management fees depend on the property type, number of units, rental income, selected service plan and whether tenant placement is required. Ongoing management, leasing and repair expenses may be priced separately depending on the services selected.

Yes. LandLord can transition an occupied rental property into professional management. During onboarding, the team reviews the existing lease, tenant and payment records, current rent, property condition, compliance documents, outstanding maintenance and any unresolved concerns before coordinating the transition with the owner and tenants.
Yes. Tenant placement is available as a standalone service for owners who plan to manage the tenancy themselves. The process can include rental positioning, advertising, enquiries, showings, applicant screening, lease preparation and move-in coordination. Owners who want continued support can combine tenant placement with full-service property management.

LandLord reviews prospective tenants through a structured screening process that may include credit, income and employment verification, rental history, landlord references and fraud checks. Qualified applicants are presented to the owner for review, and no tenant is placed without the owner’s approval. All applicant decisions must comply with Ontario rental and human-rights requirements.
Maintenance requests are assessed, prioritized and coordinated with qualified trades. Urgent situations that may threaten tenant safety or cause significant property damage are directed through the emergency process, while routine repairs are documented and scheduled based on their priority. Owners receive updates and supporting invoices through the management process.

Yes. LandLord can assess current market conditions, comparable rentals, the property’s condition and renter demand to help establish an appropriate asking rent. The team can also identify practical improvements or renovations that may strengthen tenant appeal, reduce vacancy risk or support the property’s long-term performance.
A member of the LandLord team will review the property type, location, current occupancy and the support you need. The first conversation is used to understand your goals, explain the recommended service and pricing, and confirm whether the property is a good fit. If you decide to proceed, the team will guide you through the management agreement and onboarding process.
